My new Hobby!
So the other day, I was reading a blog that I follow, and she made this hat. My girls at constantly tugging at their hats to keep them on and their ears covered, so I made one for Ellie. Then the next morning, when they saw it, Abby wanted one too, then I wanted one. Well in the past 2 weeks, I have made 13 hats (from 4 patterns and some that I made up), 6 flowers, and I am still having fun with it. Let's see how long the fun lasts.
Here are the links for the hats I have made.
Gnomey Hat (This is a knit pattern, but I crocheted it. I followed the pattern, but substituted all k and p for single crochet, and I made it a little longer, about 4-4 1/4 in the bottom section.)
Earflap Hat "This is the one I used for the girls' and my snow hats)
Flapper Hat This is my Husband's favorite hat on me.
Crochet Hat- I made this one for, my sister, Julie.
Floral Choche- I made this one for, my sister, Becca.
Shelled Cloche- I thought this was cute, so I made up a pattern for it.
Newsboy Hat- I also liked this one, so I made up a pattern for it. Not exactly, but very close.
There was another one that I made up a pattern for, and I will try to post pics of all of the ones I made soon.
Here are some fun flowers, I found to make too.
Layered Flower
Basic Flower
Lots more to choose from
Hope this helps. Have fun!!!!!
