Anne's quilt

My friend Michelle had a baby. She is about 3 months, but I finally finished her quilt. But to my defense I didn't start it until she was over 2 months ( I didn't know that she needed a blanket). I hope she likes it. I really like the flowers that are quilted on it.

Tree Skirt on display!

This tree turned out really cute. They did a lot of work to get it ready especially Sandy. It was fun to see something that I made at the festival. It looks really cute with the tree.

Greta's blanket

I made a blanket for my mom for Christmas and had some scraps that I just loved. So, I made this blanket for my niece Greta. I really like how it turned out. And she loves it too. She is so cute.

Buggy Barn Folk Art Flowers

I have seen other patterns this style and didn't know what they were. I have always loved this style. So, when I finally figured out that they were done by a company called Buggy Barn. I just had to make one. I love this and it looks great in my living room as a T.V. blanket.

Our bedspread

I had made quilts for all of the kids beds and baby blankets for the girls. So I finally found a pattern that I liked for our bed. I tried to do it without the pattern, but it turns out that the pattern has a lot of tips and tricks to make it go faster. I really wish I had just bought the pattern. Oh well, I guess I leaned my lesson.

My 1st Scrappy Quilt

O.K. this one is for Kelby. I tried to make a scrappy quilt. I was told to put in a few "uglies for interest." Well I think I put in too many. I don't know if I will make another scrappy quilt. It is not my favorite, but it is definitely not girly (which I was worried about).

Ellie's LadyBugs

I fell in love with this one and decorated her room around it. I added the borders which add a great touch I think. This is so cute.

Ellie's Run Around Town Quilts

I am just glad I finished this one. I actually made it as a gift. I tried to quilt it myself, but it looked TERRIBLE , so I threw it in a closet for a year. When we were cleaning one day, Russ found it. I unpicked the entire thing. No small task I might add. And my mom quilted it for me.

Abby's Blanket

This one was just a throw together, because Abby needed another blanket for her bed.

Abby's quilt for her "big girl bed"

I saw something like this in a pottery barn catalog and made my own pattern. I even made up the flowers, because I couldn't find one that I liked. This one took a lot of time and was very difficult. Because the flowers overlap seams, I had to work with the entire top when I appliqued each petal on. This was really my first attempt at applique. I like how it turned out. It really looks cute in her room.

Abby's Baby Quilt

I thought this would be easy, not so much. It was hard to get the corners to match up.

Festival of Trees tree skirt

This was supposed to be a quick project, but I didn't have a pattern. So I made it up. It turned out a bit too short, so I had to make a "blank" as I call it. It turned out pretty good anyway though.

Thanks for drawing the corn and the wheat Tiff. You are the best! I needed some more plants to applique on to this skirt, and since I don't draw. I asked Tiff to draw these for me. they turned out really cute. Thanks again.
